On offer on this occasion is an iconic “Charles” Compact L-Shape Sectional Sofa (Composition 03) from the “Maxalto” range of seating from the world renown Italian furniture house of B&B Italia.
As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Antonio Citterio masterpiece, B&B Italia pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.

Dressed in the most stunning and tactile “Gamma” leather option in a demure, elegant Pale Cream/Ivory hue. Whilst being as robust and hard-wearing as rhino skin, its softness and texture is simply divine to the touch. Supplied with numerous complimenting back cushions.
This piece is in pristine, immaculately-maintained condition, having seen light, irregular use in the past. Its handsome order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it at its previous home but, as you would expect when considering the colour and nature of this particular piece, it does show some minor (and i mean minor!) signs of use across the seat cushions and armrests.
The previous owner also positioned this beautiful piece with its “back” against a wall, the consequence of which is that the rear of the sofa now possesses a small plug-shaped compression mark (please see the final image provided for illustration) which, if the sofa is being purchased to use where every elevation is visible, is worthy of consideration for obvious reasons. In my experience of such things, i have no doubt that the appearance of this compression mark will reduce over time, but will definitely be present in the short-term.
As the images provided will attest, these issues prove to be of modest overall significance and, rather than being mentioned because they detract hugely from the beauty of the piece, are mentioned purely for the purposes of accuracy.

In its current condition, it would comfortably meet the requirements of the most particular and, for someone looking for a piece of high-design to position at the heart of family life, it is truly heaven sent! This superb piece possesses all the beauty and majesty of the finest contemporary furniture money can buy.
Dimensions-wise, it is a bit of a whopper. When configured, it measures 327cm across the back of the long, right-hand section (as you look at it on the images) and 156cm down the length of the shorter left-hand Chaise section, and stands 73cm high.
Due to the sectional nature of this piece, rest assured that it dismantles easily into its 2 component sections, so is able to be transported, installed and rebuilt without issue.
The breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered feather-filled back and composite seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Not only does it possess an aesthetic to die for, but it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable too!
