This is an ultra-rare opportunity to acquire what is, unequivocally, the best of the best, it being a most spectacular, beautifully-presented B&B Italia “Maxalto Apta” Superking-Sized Bed in Wenge and Leather.

As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Citterio masterpiece, beds of this nature from B&B Italia are the epitome of contemporary furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.

In a world of temporary pleasures, B&B Italia create beautiful furniture built to last a lifetime, with there being no finer, or more beautifully appointed, example of their work than this.

This “Maxalto Apta” bed is in superb, well-maintained condition, having been lightly-employed since its costly purchase and, whilst clearly not perfect, is largely free from fault, flaw or damage. Aside from a number of light (but noticeable under the very-closest of inspections) superficial marks to the Wenge headboard, and signs of use and light marks to the leather around the frame and legs (where, around the legs in particular, the seams have been under tension and lost some of the precision in their fit),  this bed is nothing short of spectacular in both appearance and execution.

This bed’s dimensions are H-160cm, W-188cm and D-208cm, with the bed area measuring H-32cm, W-180cm and D-200cm (so takes a 180cm-wide Superking-Sized mattress) and, costing close-to £4000 when purchased, represents spectacular value for money, and we have no doubt it will serve and delight its new owner for many years to come.

Delivery of this piece to most UK mainland addresses will cost £120, and can be organised on behalf of the winning bidder upon request using one of our hand-picked panel of specialist, fully-insured independent furniture couriers. For obvious reasons, it will be dismantled into its 4 component parts for shipping, but is able to be rebuilt by any two-people who are suitably-inclined, physically-able and practically-competent (the headboard attaches directly to the wall, and we were able to build it without too much fuss and consternation, so it cannot be too difficult!).
