Irresistibly welcoming, unashamedly handsome and with presence and impact in abundance. A real statement piece of boundless character and, most importantly, as comfortable as any armchair you will ever encounter.

This piece is in original, heavily-vintaged and beautifully-maintained condition and, whilst its rich patina clearly reflects the regular employment it has seen in the past (you don’t buy one of these beauties to look at!), it is reassuringly free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past but, as you should realistically expect from pieces of this covering and nature, there are a considerable number of superficial, minor blemishes to be found.

In this case, this is as well-presented an example of this icon we have seen in many years, having seen the bare-minimum of use in the past so, i suspect, is as perfect as any you will find.

With it being blessed with the kind of personality, character and patina that is rarely-found and impossible to recreate, would you really want it any other way? Perhaps, but that said, and as the images provided will attest, these issues prove to be of little cosmetic significance and, rather than being mentioned because they detract from the beauty of the pieces, are mentioned purely for the purposes of accuracy.
