RRP £10,000 – Peerless Colossal George Smith “Square-Arm” Large 4-Seat Sofa in “Lee Jofa” Pale-Green Silk-Velvet

£3900.00

Hello Friends.

On offer on this occasion is a superb, entirely-gorgeous, and spectacularly-huge George Smith “Square-Arm” Large 3-Seat Sofa, dressed in a peerless, elegant, seductive and sensationally-tactile Silk-Velvet in a delicate and endlessly-calming Pale Green from Lee Jofa.

As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this listing, George Smith pieces are the epitome of classic English furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.

In a world of temporary pleasures, George Smith create beautiful furniture built to last a lifetime and, dressed in this sublime Silk-Velvet, there can be no more refined example of their talents than this!

This piece is in superb, impeccably-maintained condition and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and remarkably-infrequent use afforded it in the past and, aside from the odd, light, barely-visible mark to the fabric (as you would expect from silk velvet such as this, where the pile gets compressed and looks lighter/darker in isolated spots, and particularly to an isolated area on the front-inside-top of the right-arm, where there are 3 barely-there, but noticeable isolated, light-marks to the cloth which, whilst they cannot be picked-up by the camera, are definitely present under close-inspection), is as impressive and gorgeous in every regard as is possible to conceive.

Please view the images provided to confirm its superb, original condition and beguiling appearance. A more achingly-sumptuous, unashamedly-luxurious sofa is impossible to imagine.

Its dimensions are a whopping H-81cm, W-259cm and D-104 cm, and the breathtaking seating position this iconic classic-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously-upholstered feather-filled back and seat cushions, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms. Not only does it possess an aesthetic to die for, but it is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable too!

Costing in excess of £10,000 when specially-commissioned (you are unlikely to find another), it represents spectacular value for money, and we have no doubt it will serve and delight its new owner for many years to come.

Delivery of this piece to most UK mainland addresses will cost £120, and can be organised on behalf of the winning bidder upon request using one of our hand-picked panel of specialist, fully-insured independent furniture couriers.
