On offer on this occasion is something of a rarity on the used market, it being a pristine Large Wenge “Zeus” Dining Table and 6 “Valentina” Wenge & Pale Leather Dining Chairs in Walnut and Ultrasuede from the world-renown Italian furniture manufacturers, Varenna by Poliform.
As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this Van Duysen-designed table and the Columbo-designed chairs, Poliform dining suites such as this are the pinnacle of fine, contemporary furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.
All components of this sublime suite are in original, beautifully-maintained condition, reflecting the exceptionally-infrequent, considerate employment it has seen in the past and, aside from one or two small (and i mean small!) bumps and light dings to the frames of the table and chairs as you might expect, is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. In my experience, this is as beautifully-conditioned as you could possibly hope to find a pre-owned suite of this nature.
