As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this homage to the original (but significantly larger) Carlo Mollino creation, “Cavour” desks are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless visual impact, and exhibits detailing and execution of the highest standard.

Sourced from one of our clients, who acquired it in the early 2000’s and believes it to be manufactured by Zanotta but, in the absence of any paperwork or manufacturers idents to confirm this, and as it has obvious-differences to the version that Zanotta offers currently, this cannot be confirmed with any certainty at this point and, as a consequence, is reflected in the figure we are offering this for sale.

Either way, it remains a thing of genuine beauty, quality and function, and is executed to a standard that will please all but the most-discerning.

That said, this piece is in superb, lightly-used condition and, aside from some light, superficial marks to the top and frame (as you might expect with a piece of this nature) is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage.

It is certain to meet the requirements of all except the true-perfectionist and, for someone looking for a piece of peerless design and execution to position at the heart of their home, it is truly heaven sent! Without question, this superb compact table/desk possesses all the beauty and majesty you would expect from one of the most-iconic desk-designs in the world.

Dimensions-wise, the measurements of the table are H-75cm, W-165cm and D-70cm and, costing in just shy of £4000 when new (as opposed to £11,000 for the much-larger Zanotta version), it represents spectacular value for money, and we have no doubt it will serve and delight its new owner for many years to come.
