On offer on this occasion is the rarest of the rare, it being an original, iconic 1975 “Baia” Corner Seat (we also have a complimenting chair available too at present – please view the final image for illustration) from the world renown Italian furniture house of B&B Italia.
As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this original Citterio & Nava masterpiece, B&B Italia pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.

Originally purchased in a green-canvas fabric option back in 1975, their previous owner recently spent a kings-ransom having these icons professionally restored (the original internals, base-fabric and labels were retained and re-used, and are still present) and recovered in this divine fabric as part of a renovation project at his Belgravia home, only for them to be surplus to requirements at the end of the project. Remarkably, it remains unused since its sympathetic renovation, so is as peerless in condition as you would expect.
The fabric used for this renovation is nothing short of sensational and, whilst being as robust and hard-wearing as rhino skin, its softness and texture is simply divine to the touch.
This piece is in pristine, perfectly-maintained condition, and is entirely free from fault, flaw or damage. Its handsome order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past but, as you would expect when considering the nature of these floor-dwellers, the original base-cloth does show light signs of use, with the odd faint mark visible, as you would expect but, considering this piece is over 40 years old, its appearance and condition is nothing short of miraculous!
