Let’s Talk Suede…

Suede is certainly having it’s moment in the world of fashion…

In the world of interiors however, suede has always been that classic material. Beautifully tactile, adds texture and elegance to a room and a certain warmth. Suede is one of those materials that just gets better with age, an heirloom material that will be handed down to generations to come.

Of course, I had to begin with the incredible, rare “Bachelor” Lounge Chair and Footstool from the world renown Danish furniture house of Fritz Hansen.

Dressed in the most stunningly-tactile, demure, high-grade Suede Leather option, in a beautifully warm, rich tan shade. A neutral whilst still being that perfect statement chair, elevating your office space perfectly.

The next piece in question is an iconic “Nautilus” Corkscrew Armchair and Footstool from the “New York Collection” by world renown German furniture designer, Vladimir Kagan.

Dressed in the most stunning and tactile short-pile Ultrasuede option in a versatile, neutral Mid-Brown hue. Whilst being as robust and hard-wearing as rhino skin, its softness and texture (as illustrated in the close-up images provided) is simply divine to the touch.

With dark-hardwood trim around the base (as per the picture provided) to give it an elegant, floating-effect.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a blog post all about suede furniture if we didn’t include a sofa…
