On offer on this occasion is an entirely-original, vintage pair of Matteo Grassi “TM” Armchairs, dressed in a peerless top-grade Brown Leather.

As you will no doubt be aware by your interest in this rare pair of Tito Agnoli masterpiece’s, this pair is of peerless quality, and exhibits detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.

Irresistibly welcoming, unashamedly handsome and with presence and impact in abundance. Real statement pieces of boundless character and, most importantly, as comfortable as any armchair you will ever encounter.

This pair is in original, heavily-vintaged and beautifully-maintained condition and, whilst its rich patina clearly reflects the regular employment it has seen in the past (you don’t buy one of these beauties to look at!), it is reassuringly free from fault, flaw or damage. Its fine order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past but, as you should realistically expect from pieces of this covering and nature, there are a considerable number of superficial, minor blemishes to be found.

In this case, there are a number of modest, minor marks across the acres of leather covering this pair (which is inevitable on a buttery-soft, supple hide of this kind) which, in our humble view, only really serves to add to its air of relaxed grandeur and authenticity.

With it being blessed with the kind of personality, character and patina that is rarely-found and impossible to recreate, would you really want it any other way? Perhaps, but that said, and as the images provided will attest, these issues prove to be of little cosmetic significance and, rather than being mentioned because they detract from the beauty of the pieces, are mentioned purely for the purposes of accuracy.
