It’s time to make a statement…
Here at Lord Browns, we love the unusual and when art meets furniture, it has our name written all over it.
So, I have selected just a few pieces from our curated collection to show you, and trust me, you absolutely won’t be disappointed!
Starting off incredibly strong with the rarest of the rare (in fact, in this case it is entirely-unique), with the piece in question being the quite-remarkable “Udder” oversized-armchair and footstool, painstakingly hand-crocheted in soft-red and pale-pink cotton-yarn by Jordyn Rachel Gardiner (from her 2021 “Uddercomforts” collection) which i acquired from the 2023 “New Contemporaries” exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh.
Having seen my fair-share of interesting pieces of seating across my career, my goodness, Jordyn really did create something genuinely-remarkable here.
In a world of temporary pleasures, this sensational armchair and stool has clearly been designed, specified and built to make an immediate and lasting impact, and to have quality and beauty in abundance. Honestly, it could not be more-impressive.
Next up, we have an equally impressive piece by the iconic, world renowned furniture house of Edra. This being the spellbinding “Guetsen” Lily Chair, dressed in the most stunning, vivid, bold and vibrant, Cobalt blue Velvet option – divine!
Make a true statement in the home with this incredible design, a true work of art and a joy to behold!
Edra pieces are the epitome of contemporary European furniture design, are of peerless quality, and exhibit detailing and execution of an unrivalled standard.
And last but certainly not least, making a statement in the home doesn’t have to mean bright and bold colours, it can come in many forms, one being a contemporary shape, this example being the incredibly stylish “Moon MS288S” 2-Section L-Shape 4-Seat Sofa from the chic Italian furniture house of B&B Italia.
Dressed in their “Lora” fabric in Black which, whilst being as robust and hard-wearing as rhino skin, its softness and texture is simply divine to the touch.
The breathtaking seating position this iconic modern-design creates is enhanced by the use of sumptuously comfortable, generously upholstered composite back and seat cushioning, which leaves you powerless to resist its charms.
